TikTok integration
Creator-controlled Direct Post
Crossreel uses TikTok Login Kit, user.info.basic and video.publish to connect a creator and publish only the video that creator explicitly confirms.
End-to-end user flow
- The creator selects “Connect TikTok” in @crossreelbot.
- Crossreel opens TikTok's official authorization page. Crossreel never receives the TikTok password.
- After consent, the connected TikTok display name is shown in the bot.
- The creator uploads an original video and writes an editable title.
- Crossreel requests fresh Creator Info before rendering TikTok publication settings.
- The creator manually selects a privacy option returned by TikTok; no privacy option is preselected.
- Comment, Duet and Stitch controls start off and unavailable interactions remain disabled.
- The creator selects commercial-content and AI-generated-content disclosures.
- A final preview shows the account, title, privacy, interactions, disclosures and timing.
- Only explicit final consent starts the Direct Post request. Crossreel then shows processing and final status.
Data and API use
user.info.basic | Reads the authorized creator's TikTok open ID and display name so the creator can verify the destination account. |
|---|---|
video.publish | Creates one user-confirmed post with the settings chosen in the final plan. |
| Video transfer | Uses a short-lived PULL_FROM_URL on the verified Crossreel API domain because the source video is already stored server-side. |
| Branding | Crossreel does not add a logo, watermark, link or promotional overlay to content sent to TikTok. |
| Unknown outcomes | Crossreel checks publication status and does not blindly retry a request whose outcome is unknown. |
Availability before audit
Where TikTok applies unaudited-client restrictions, Crossreel follows the privacy options and other capabilities returned by Creator Info. It does not present unavailable public options as usable.
